2026 event

Tell us how to reach you, when you are available, and where you would like to help. A coordinator reviews participation and assignments. Registration is for adults age 18 and older.

We will do our best to place you in an area you prefer. Volunteer needs change as the event approaches, so you may be asked to help in another area where support is most needed.

Before the event

Organize resources, prepare materials, coordinate logistics, and support community outreach.

During the event

Welcome guests, assist partner organizations, distribute resources, and help the event operate smoothly.

After the event

Help with cleanup, inventory reconciliation, and lessons that improve the next annual event.

Become a community partner

Bring your organization’s services, supplies, people, or sponsorship to the Stand Down. A coordinator will review your inquiry and follow up to discuss arrangements.

Your information and participation

Registration does not create a staff account or subscribe you to promotional messages. Partner affiliations and existing assignment claims are verified by a coordinator. Minors and youth groups will use a separately reviewed supervision process.

Authorized event staff use your contact details, availability, interests, and skills to review and coordinate participation.
